Rakesh Roshan Lal Nagrath well-known as Rakesh Roshan was born on September 6th, 1949, in the city of Bombay, India. He was born in the house of Roshan and Ira Roshan. His father and mother were also film directors, and music directors and related to the entertainment industry.
His father’s name is Roshan Lal Nagrath well-known by his professional name Roshan, who was an Indian esraj player, actor, and music director.
His mother’s name is Ira Nagrath, known as Ira Roshan, he was a Bengali singer, composer, and actress. Rakesh grew up in the city of Bombay and completed his early education at the Sainik School Satara in Bombay. When he was a kid he love acting and also watch different actors.

Then Rakesh set up his own movie production company named “Filmkraft” in the year 1980. Then he released his first film “Aap Ke Deewane” in the same year which was a flop film at that time.
